As an established TV presenter and fashion icon, Louise Redknapp is one of Britain’s best loved personalities and an instantly recognizable face. Louise has embarked on a successful TV career presenting shows such as The Clothes Show, BBC’s Royal Ascot Coverage, GMTV and This Morning.

Her first major presenting role was on the hit ITV saturday morning show SMTV LiVE / CDUK where she joined Ant, Dec and Cat Deeley for a total of 10 shows.

She has also demonstrated her serious investigative journalism skills with the hard hitting observational documentary ‘The Truth About Size Zero’. Which was seen by over 6 Million viewers when it was first broadcast on ITV1.

In 2008 she took part in & won a special Sports Relief edition of ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ in which her diligence and devotion to the cause raised almost £800,000 and she also presented coverage of ITV1's Soccer Aid with Ant and Dec and Tim Lovejoy.

Louise's TV career continues into 2009 having already fronted 'The Truth About Super Skinny Pregnancies' for ITV1 as part of their 'Truth About Beauty' season. She has also been given a presenting role on BBC2's Sunday morning hit 'Something For The Weekend' with Tim Lovejoy, fronted FIVE's new reality show 'Farmer Wants A Wife' in the Autumn. And in 2010 Joined BBC1's Hit Dance show 'So You Think You Can Dance' as a main judge.


The Truth About Super Skinny Pregnancies

Louise investigates the pressure on women to maintain a glamorous pregnancy, and looks at why some women attempt to obliterate all signs of it immediately after their baby is born.

She meets pregorexic women – a worryingly growing band of mums-to-be who are starving themselves and their unborn babies.

and also worryingly feels the pressure to lose her baby weight for a pending Photoshoot.

 

The Truth About Size Zero

Louise discovers first hand the dangers of the current obsession with being stick thin when she undertakes an extreme crash diet and exercise regime in an attempt to drop to a US dress size zero in just 30 days.

In the show Louise interviews former Spice Girl Melanie C and Actress and TV Presenter Denise Van Outen to find out their veiws on the 'Size Zero' trend.
